Yolanda's Mexican Cafe: Authentic Mexican Dining & Vibrant Cocktails

This food is the best mexican food I've ever had in my life. I've been coming here for like 9 years since I was younger and oh my gosh it is so good i used to live in Simi valley and moved and I haven't had it for like 2 years and I've been trying to find a New Mexican restaurant where I live now and coming back too this from all the other Mexican restaurants just makes me realize how much better this food is compared to the others like I dont know what they put in the food but it is one of a kind.

Authentic Mexican food with a great variety of dishes on the menu and huge portions. Outdoor and indoor seating that is comfortable in a festive atmosphere. The service is always polite and helpful and accommodating.

Last night we celebrated my husband's 40th here, and we enjoyed this place very much! The atmosphere and the customer service were amazing. The manager and the staff were very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. They made us feel very welcome and we would recommend this place for any occasion!

One of my favorite restaurants in Simi. They have the best margaritas in town. Also love the name because it reminds me of my sister. Good food, good friendly service every time.

Fantastic authentic Mexican food with lots of old favorites and standards. The enchiladas are delicious, the salsa bar is a big plus, but the service makes it the best experience by far. Alan was a great waiter for us!

Stopped by Yolanda’s in Simi Valley for happy hour and it did not disappoint. Great happy hour menu, nice cold beer, solid margaritas, and plenty of sports on the TVs. The place is clean, the crowd was good, and the waiters were friendly and attentive the whole time. I had the corn burritos (almost went with taquitos!) and they were actually really good — flavorful and hit the spot. Definitely a place I’ll come back to. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place rocks. Local Love Approved.

I recently visited Yolanda’s Mexican Café in Simi Valley and was really impressed. The restaurant sits in a strip mall, which actually makes parking super easy—there’s plenty of it, and getting in and out is convenient. The inside has a warm, welcoming vibe, and you can tell it’s a favorite among locals. They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa. The regular salsa is fresh and full of flavor, and they also bring out a warm, light-red bean-style salsa that really surprised me—in a good way. It’s unique and honestly one of the highlights. I ordered the chicken and beef fajitas, which were about $23.00. The portion was generous, and both the chicken and beef were tender, juicy, and nicely seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly, and everything tasted like it came straight off the grill. Service was fast too, which made the whole experience even better. Some locals say it’s the best Mexican restaurant in town. I haven’t tried every spot in Simi Valley, so I won’t go that far, but I can definitely say it’s one of the better Mexican restaurants I’ve been to anywhere. If you’re in the area and craving good Mexican food with friendly service, easy parking, and great flavors, Yolanda’s is absolutely worth a visit.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great. Their ranchero sauce is so good. Their Christmas Punch was amazing. Thanks for being a good go to spot.
